Hi guys. My car was leaking Oil last week so I took it in to Mazda and they called me today and told me that it was 2 oil cooler lines and told me that it'd would cost roughly $900 for them to replace the lines, gaskets etc...Does that seem steep? Would that be covered in the powertrain warranty? It's an 04 with 65k miles on it.

1 no that's not considered powertrain...2 I believe PT warranty is only till 60k miles anyway...

yeah seems steep but that's dealer price....you could always buy the lines and do it yourself would def save alot of money...

 

There is a recall on the lines in Canada and a few other countries....you might want to mention that..and get them to call Tech and see if they will authorize the repair
