OEM vs retail/aftermarket

Hey guys, please forgive me if this was discussed before, but i think this is going to be a good discussion, and a good guide for everyone.

I've being reading a lot about intake system, and clutch kits, and suspenssion, and most of things i've found is that the OEM parts are better than retail or aftermarket parts, so the question is, what is reliable to invest in aftermarket parts (or not OEM) that could be better than OEM ?

Aftermarket suspension is better than OEM looking at a performance point of view. Stock clutch is great unless you are pushing close to or over 300whp. Stock intake is pretty much spot on for a NA renny. CAI is really only needed for turbo kits, unless you want bling factor.

All of this have been discussed thoroughly since 2002. Read this thread here.. If your still confused use the search function.

lol. newb. there are threads updated daily that have to do what you just asked. I think you're missing adam's point. He's not telling you to look at threads from 2002, he's telling you that what you have asked has been covered multiple time of the years since the forum started in 2002. With reading comprehension like that, i can see how finding the answer for yourself is going to be tough.

stop posting and read. The stickies from each section will answer most if not all of your questions.

He answered every question you asked, and the thread he linked you to was from 2012. You also answered your own question about the intake and clutch in your first post.

Well, maybe you don't understand English very well. I just noticed you are from Costa Rica so that would explain why you think that sentence makes sense.

Well no we know so we can spend more time trying to decipher what you are writing. No big deal, we welcome everyone. But try and read and research first and then ask questions, it will make things much easier to comprehend.
