How much oil do you use per 1,000 miles?

Mazurfer theirs no need to be an ******* because i ask a question, so i worry about my new car that i just bought this month and i ask a question because im unsure of what is wrong or if their even is a problem so i ask the people on the RX8 CLUB FORUM a question, that is part of what forums are for am i wrong??
Yes, that is partly what it is(the forum).
I guess where I was going with it was if you were really that worried that much about the car, then you would've surely gotten a manual with it and read it. Or.....at least would sought one out. Anyway............not looking to start a war or anything, so my only advice would be to read a lot on here, use the advanced search a lot on here, read the stickies, get a manual and at least browse through it once. Then...I will be convinced through your effort that you are worried about your car and want to learn and take care of it as best you can.

Wait a second, your dummy gauge is fine....we know that....two or three ticks above center is normal.

Are you saying that your oil low light is coming on and when you check the oil it's at the proper level?

If that's true...............yes.....have it looked at as that is NOT normal.

I have to ask.......you are checking this oil on a level surface after waiting at least 5 minutes for the oil to drain back into the pan? I'm assuming you are also inserting the dipstick fully?

See....my assholeiness is on temporary leave!
