I have found that between the rotor housing and the iron plate located right around where the oil dipstick is that their is an oily residue that forms. I have spray degreaser on that area and it disappears but comes back a few days later. Do others notice this on your cars or is there a leak forming on mine?

 

Had mine since Oct 03 and have not noticed what you describe.

 

That is a dowel pin o-ring leak very bad and will get worse, take it to the dealer and get a new engine. Sorry
