I hit it all the time. It's easy to miss, especially when you're not used to it and the radio is on. I'd turn down the radio and roll up the windows and try it again, if that doesn't work.. the buzzer is below the steering column, to the right (i think) .

My car beeps. I had heard it two times before. I don't often get THAT high in the RPM band, but I KNOW it works. The other day I was going to show my friends. I was running in first gear coming out of a parking lot. I figured that would be for the best, since I didn't want to hit 60 MPH on The Strip at UA (where all the bars are). So, it cut through the gears and I was watching... and waiting... and waiting... then suddenly I hit the fuel cut off. I was marginally embarrassed that I made so much noise to no effect.

Not that it helps any. I just thought it was odd. Perhaps it has some selective beeping algorithm? What conditions are you putting yours under? WOT? Slowly working up into the high RPMS like I did?

I don't know that I've ever heard it in first gear. I think I've only heard it in second.

Has anyone heard it in first before?

Funny, I just got my M flash yesterday, and now I think I hear it, but seems much quieter. I used to have no trouble hearing the beep.

this is with the radio off.

its hard to hear.... just keep on trying. If your car doesnt beep, get that fixed. Having the car beep makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. YOU DESERVE TO FEEL WARM AND FUZZY INSIDE!
