New Starter Questions

I have an 04 auto that's in need of a new starter. All the starters for a manual are cheaper but I know they don't fit. Can I move the manual motor into the auto housing?

Found em for 120. Just trying to save a few bucks. A penny saved is a penny for racing tires.

A penny saved is a worst possibly timed failure thanks to our friend Murphy and his laws. I wouldnt get a cheap starter, or cheaper than that either. Try and stick with the revised version of the OEM starter, and make sure your battery is up to par at the same time. Winter is slowly approaching, would be awful if either one of those failed.

I'm just getting it ready to sell. Its my fun car, not my daily. I'm not going to sell someone a car that has issues.
