New Plugs

I have a set of new plugs to install. Are they already gapped to the right spec out of the box?

You are not supposed to gap iridium plugs -- unlike normal ones (used iridium on a motorcycle too -- same deal...)

OK, I did not know that. So they are gapped out of the box and good to go?

I'd still check the gap, just be careful and read about the procedures for gapping. Don't push down on the ground strap with a feeler gauge in.
