Exclamation Need help buying a oem part

I need the quick connect that connects to the top of the fule pump in THIS PIC.
I need to know the part number and if anyone has a pdf or pic of a diagram of where it connects to I need to see that too.
Regarding the fuel hose in the pic I need to know where this hose comes from and where it connects to in a jeg gif or pdf or what ever anything.
Thanks!!!!

Need help buying a oem part-fuel-pump.jpg

The parts list doesn't show that particular clip as a separate part number, but it looks like many other disconnects on our car (just different color).
It appears that you need to buy that whole hose in order to obtain that clip.
But that would be a waste of money...
Might want to try the local dealer just to see if they happen to have a clip in stock.

Hey DOMINION... I just reviewed another thread you started about your pump.
Are you asking for the green disconnect clip for the fuel hose or the disconnect for the wire harness?

You can't buy the quick connect separately...it is integral with the fuel line.....comes as one part.

A piece of rubber high pressure injection hose and a couple of hose clamps will work...to be even more OEM..use the connector from Patrick on one end......

I agree... any rough idea how long the hose needs to be?

I know but I did not want to **** up StealthTL (Rays) thread. If he wants he can put all 4 of them together.

dannobre and Jon316G, its not the hose guys. The hose is fine. Its the quick connector that connects to the top of the fule pump. Something is wrong with it.
When I took it off and looked in side it, you will see a red part and a greed part and a small white kinda blue ring that falls out. I put the ring back in and the connect back on the pump but its all lose and fuel is leaking out and if you move it it will pee on you or start to spray out!. Its not tight like it was when I first took it off. I dont get it. The green C clamp is lose too.
So if I can get a tight one like a new one should be then I should not have a fuel leak after I snap it on. If I keep leaking fuel then I'm SOOL.

Right.. but as dannobre mentioned, that disconnect is part of the hose "assembly" and not something that is purchased separately.
You can see that by the attached document I posted above
So instead of paying $177 for the whole assembly, simply buy some hose with a couple clamps as dannobre suggested.

Well that hose connects at the top of the pump.
Or are you referring to the wire harness?
Just making sure we're all on the same page here

yes the other part of the hose connects to the secondary pump unit on the other side of the saddle bag. Its called a venturi system so you always have even flow to the main pump instead of turning the car and sucking air.

I never removed my fuel tank to be able to say for sure how to do this.
I just went out to my car and removed both rear seats to get an idea of what you're dealing with.
That hose loops around and towards the driver's side, but this diagram shows it running to the other side of the tank.
Need help buying a oem part-fuel-line.jpg

Not sure how this is routed, but I didn't see that 90 degree elbow on the other side, so it looks to me that you'll have to remove the tank to get this routed properly.
Maybe someone who has actually dropped their tank can chime in and correct?

Ah... I didn't see that part on the other side.
I'm guessing that you'll need to remove that "ring" and pull out that assembly to gain access to the other end of the hose?

notice that the other end is made with a rubber end and hose clamps. the middle line between the two sides is fuel grade plastic.

Dam drop the tank?
Thanks man. I'm going to pull my other seat and see what it looks like on that side may be I can drop a line down and see where its hanging from. I got my brother to help me out. I'll jack the back up on stands. See what I can come up with. I know when I'm in over my head and if I have to I'll have it towed to Mazda and let them fix it.

True. But the one behind the driver side is out of that fuel grade plastic. I can feel it. and when you take it off the top of it twist not the hose but the L shaped plastic end with the quick connect.

*EDIT*
Oh I get what your saying. Add a rubber hose like on the other side and clamp it down? I'm going to try that when I get home with some rubber and clamps I get from autozone to night. On my way home I'll ask my co worker thats giving me a ride home. I'll see what I can find. Its a big autozone and its open 24/7.
