120-150ml for commuting, ~250ml or more if you're going to be tracking the car.

I have been using 6oz Idemitsu though it hasn't had a noticeable effect on my degrading compression.

Not barely sufficient... 120ml is barely 4oz, i'd go with 8 or more at least for daily driving. Still not a lot for a 50lt fillup.

Yeah, premix helps but doesn't solve the center wear issues if you don't start it immediately and consistently

This should be good stuff, and I noticed on their data sheet that they give the same product # and specs to the Snowmobile oil, too.

This kind of marketing is reasuring for the OCD guys that want magic in their fuel.

Have been using Lucas semi-synthetic 2 cycle oil but only just started premixing and the engine seems be running smoother. 4oz/fillup

On the bottle it advertises an "exclusive additive" (whatever that means..prolly just a sales gimmick) that burns clean and helps plugs and rings last longer. Smokeless/low ash, reduces carbon build-up, meets ISO GD, JASO FC & FD, and exceeds API TC.

Was the only good 2 stroke oil available nearby without the TCW3 rating.

I do 3-4 oz. per full tank.

I'm running the same. Idemitsu 8 oz per tank. Although no OMP.
No smoke of course. Now is this good, bad, or otherwise . All i can say is seems no different for power or startup in the 2.5 yrs its been "gone".

Premix a reman engine?

I plan to premix idemitsu but just got reman engine installed. Do I wait for a break-in period or start using it right away?

I don't even know if there IS a break-in on remanufactured. The dealer said to just drive it like I stole it....sooooooo....

I was leaning towards premixing now too.

Why would you use a solvent like MMO to premix? As a cleaner every once in a while... maybe. As a daily premix hell no.

Premix is used to lubricate, a solvent-rich lubricant may not be the best option for that purpose. That's pretty much it. Since there are dozens of proper 2 stroke oils I wouldn't take any chances with products whose use is unclear.

Been using Castrol 2T lately. It's almost identical to the blue Lucas stuff but way cheaper.

Used to use Idemitsu until I ran out of the case that I had.
