Mitty Vac Questions
Okay guys, I am looking at getting a Mitty vac but have heard some models hoses don't fit our dipstick. Does anyone know which model fits? Also, i am planning to get speed bleeders and use this for a brake fluid swap/SS brake line install. Has anyone used the mitty vac for this or should I just do it the old fashioned way?

Hey, 9krpmrx8,
You keep reading my mind. Some people on here said they used the Pela oil extractor and got more oil out than draining. I'm gonna get one of these before I drain next time.
Remember, search is your friend. Ha!

They sell both on Amazon. One guy on Mity vac review said that the manufactorer said Mobil 1 could make the seals lose suction. Can you believe we got a syn leaky seal debate on something outside the engine? Ha!

hey 9k
u dont need the speed bleeders, they are a waste of money. just get some long air pump tube at any aquarium store and cut into 4 one foot tubes. turn the tube upwards so that fluid HAS to flow upstream... air bubbles can't fight gravity. done this way, you can see when the fluid becomes clear, if you also attach it to a empty water bottle.
always done it this way. speed bleeders are a waste of time, as you still gotta go crack it open anyway.
the fluid evacuator sounds good though. thats worth getting, to me.
