Question Brake rotor opinion. (Should they be turned)

I've been searching around this site and found several opinions on "turning" the rotors on our 8's. What is your opinion? I'm starting to get a shimmy under braking at higher speeds (50+) and I'm curious if I NEED to replace them or if I'm ok to have them turned (machined)

you should get a measurement of the brake rotor to make sure you can machine the brake rotor and still be within factory spec. however if you drive rather aggressively then it might be a better idea to replace the brake rotor and start off with a new thick surface

Awesome write-up. Gonna go home and replace rotors, do proper break-in procedures. Gettin' some pretty bad wobbling during breaking... will update with if their advice works or not.
