i am going to be installing the mazdaspeed wing sometime this week. my car doesnt have a wing on it now, so my question is, after i drill the trunk, should i silicon it to water proof it or will it seal without it. also if i do need to silicon, does the ms wing come with it?

the MS wing does not come with silicon.

Not sure if you need to silicon it, but it might not be a bad idea if you don't mind doing the extra work.

I cheated and just had my dealership install the wing.

 

how much did they charge, if you dont mind me asking

You dont need to put any silicon.

I installed mine, w/o anything.

No leak whatsoever. You just gotta be sure that you install it correctly.

Its up to you.
