Trust me kuro, an appropriate dwell table with d585s is more than noticeable when compared to the stock dwells.

If that's all you want paypal me 20 bucks and I'll take care of that. I'd even do the oil and dwell just for the heck of it.

It wouldn't take you 15 min to do most of those. The intake might take a little bit.

Here's the thing: MazdaManiac's service is easy to order, and doesn't require asking around for someone on a forum to do you a favor. Add in the fact that the tuning service is reasonably priced when you're already dropping 500 bucks on an Accessport, and that's why people use it. It has nothing to do with fandom- it's simply a matter of simplicity. If his services are really that overpriced/useless, why doesn't someone else offer the same or similar service for less? Seems to me with all the S1 RX-8's on the used market right now, they'd make money hand over fist...

As for the offer- I really appreciate it, but I still have a few months of free tuning.

Simplicity is not having a middle man tune a car he's never seen over the internet.

Just saying

I ran it on my MacBook as well, which met an untimely end due to a glass of orange juice.

It doesn't take up much space and I'm sure its free (can't exactly remember). But if anyone is having that issue, not being able to run ATR because they have a later version Windows or they use a Mac look up Virtual Machine.

Its easy to use, and I didn't have to dig up my old PC from the attic to run ATR.

Can I ask what virtualization technology you are using and what software versions of APM and ATR you are using? I'm having some problems with my setup so maybe you can shed some light. I'm running Debian as my host OS on a laptop with 64bit Windows 7 as a guest using the KVM virtualization in the Linux kernel. I think I've narrowed the issue to a USB pass through problem, it's like the communication is being disrupted because of an encoding problem or something. So, I guess I'm just wondering what virtualization technology you are using and what settings you have applied to the USB connection. Thanks.

The general issue is that both this thread and your current discussion are in the wrong forum area
