Mazda Servicing: What is an immediate concern?

Hey guys, so i just bought a 2006 RX8 GT Automatic, yeah i know automatic not the best choice but due to circumstances that was my only choice. So anyway i got it checked out at my local Mazda Dealership for recalls and just an overall seasonal inspection. These are the things they have recommended to get replaced and serviced. Btw the cars only been driven 38000kms (24000mil).
  1. Air Filter replacement ($49.93)
  2. REC: Throttle Body Service ($126)
  3. REC: Mazda Oil Filter ($41.95)
  4. Slight Damage to front undercover ($28.50)
  5. Brakes Dragging - Front and rear Brake service ($145.00)
  6. Spark Plugs Look Original May need replacement ($360.00)
  7. Vibration in Drive at stop
    - Leading Plug on Front rotor is seized housing threads may need machine shop ($400.00)
    - Rattle Noise
    -Engine Mounts
    - Transmission Engine Alignment -> Lower Frame Marked & Bulletins for vibration
-REC: Order Mounts and Reposition ($406.04)
So now my question is which if any is an immediate concern that i should be getting replaced and serviced? And is there anything else i should be looking out for?

filter looks reasonable

TB service is a money grab

Oil change...good to do

Undercover??'''depends...likely a couple of bolts missing...look at it yourself first

Dragging brakes...sounds like a line..but likely they could use a lube and check

Plugs....cost $80...so $360 is stupid...good luck with the seized plug.....I would make them fix that if you just bought it for free...that is a major defect....

Engine mounts need to be checked..unless the PPF has been loosened or worked on it should be aligned properly...they should be able to tell you what is wrong before you have them fix the noise

1. rip off
2. Super rip off
3. super duper rip off
4. wtf ? wat kind of service is that? undercover cannot be repaired, it can only be replaced, which cost way more.
5. brakes dragging? what? rofl ? it sounds like they will *just* put lubes on ur brake clips and call it a day, o and those lube cost like 5 bux for a big *** bottle, and 1 bottle will last at least 500 of these *brake* jobs
6. Looks original? wtf ? if its original u can tell RIGHT AWAY. there is no such thing as "looks original". total bullshit, not to mention, each plug cost just 17 bux online, so yeah, this is another rip off.
7. LOL ?!?!?!?!?
- Might seize? if its really seized there is nothing they can do, not even a machine shop. u need to take it apart. heh, sounds like they just made another bs up so that they can get money from you.
- Rattle noise? u need to find out the cause. and most likely is caused by engine mounts, which cost *just* under 100 bux.
- Hell no.

First you should run away from that dealerSHIT ASAP. dont pay them a cent.

and order parts urself, bring it back to ur local garage to install them (cuz it sounds like u cant do any car work)

crazy for a filter, ok if they meant a full oil change and you don't want to DIY
[*]Slight Damage to front undercover ($28.50)
inspect it yourself. anything a dealer only wants $28.50 for can't be too tremendously broken
[*]Brakes Dragging - Front and rear Brake service ($145.00)
depends on what the service is
[*]Spark Plugs Look Original May need replacement ($360.00)
This one mystifies me. They took all the plugs out, inspected, then put them back in? It would have been practically the same labor to put in new plugs. The parts are $80-100 retail
[*]Vibration in Drive at stop
motor mounts

Did they get the plug out or not? If they f*ed up the threads during removal, repair is on them. If it's truly seized, search the forum, this has probably been covered. All I can say is that when installing plugs, ALWAYS use anti-seize compound on the threads.

at only 24k miles.... shouldnt the motor mounts be covered under the factory warranty?

hell even the "seized" plug should be a warranty item if they noted that is an original item, meaning the factory did it.....

OMG - rip off. Don't give them a cent. Find a rotary mechanic in you area. It is Toronto - there has to be someone who specializes in Mazdas at least. Go look/ask in the regional forum.

Stealership pricing.

Canada only got 3 year warranty even when US was getting 4 years - so probably out of warranty already.

yeah sadly no warranty... so i shouldn't worry too much about the vibration that occurs when the car is idling then i guess rite? Also does anyone know of a good mazda/rotary mechanic in the mississauga, okaville area? i guess i should be asking this in the Canadian section
