I'm not even gonna go through this thread and find it. If attitude is what some members of BHR gives out, then thats jus how it is. Ok, so now you guys are using D-585 coils instead of LS2. thanks for the info. doesn't matter now though, I got LS2 coils now. No one wanted to talk business but just be offended for asking questions, so this is what happens. we'll leave it at that. good luck with ur business.

Finally installed the LS2 Coils, and it did the job. Better power from 5k+ rpms, smoother idle, better fuel economy and good engine startup now. Very good mod.

Instead I got problems with hot start, something I didn't have before replacement. Obviously Mazda- engineers has a couple of tricks up their sleeve when the specify coils.

Instead of bashing a company that makes products specifically geared towards the rx8 and has a track record of success why don't you just buy something and try it out. If you don't like it then you could sell the product.
I am pretty sure BHR would work better with you if you wouldn't attempt to bash the company in a thread and just ask them a question directly.
I also love how people blame the new products they install to fix their issue instead of checking everything out that could be wrong with the car......

Some people seem to suddenly get hot hard-start issues and some don't.
In my case, the one time I had hot hard-starts that seemed to magically disappear when I used OE coils was on a low compression motor.
However, on another motor that had low compression, the hot starts were fast with the BHR ignition and slow with the OE coils, so who knows exactly what is going on there. I don't.
This is an issue we deal with constantly, even though we specifically indicate that one product will not fix issues in another area of the system.

What?
You mean this emergency brake lever I just bought isn't going to eliminate the brake squeal when I apply the brakes from 75 mph?
I want a refund...

Unfortunately, not every customer is actually intelligent, and even less have a reasonable supply of common sense.

I call my e-brake the "make the car smell funny lever"
BHR is my next mod after I get my exhaust on. The coils and plugs have not been looked at in a good while and $500 now to save me $400 or so later on is a plus to me. Its not about HP, its about preventative maintenance. I plan on having my RX8 for well over 100,000 miles (fingers crossed). I just think an upgraded ignition will save me more trouble down the road.
