mazda motor policy?

Ok i think ill be getting a new motor put in my car, my question Is there any rules they have to follow like a reman renny or new one, they wont go pull one outa a junk yard and install it? B/c thats what they did w/ my tranny, put a used one in it. I know i do NOT want a junkyard motor in my 8.

For motors, MOST LIKELY they will give you a Reman motor, Which is often crap and you should pray the company who rebuild it did it right.

there are a few lucky case when Mazda went out of Reman, they will ship a Brand new Motor from Hiroshima of Japan, directly off the production line.

For Tranny, they should rebuild it, if it cost too much to rebuild they will just ship you a new one. they should NOT pull one out from a local junk yard and give it to you. Cuz this sound like something that only an ******* dealership would do. Probably rip Mazda off.

junkyard parts sounds more like a 3rd party warranty company then a mazda warranty.

Unless its the car company's own extended warranty, will MOST LIKELY go out and find whatever cheapest part that they can find to fix your car.

so good luck ... lets just hope that they will find a *good* one.
