MAF Location

haven't really paid too much attention to location, and I am sure I could pop the hood and look, but being lazy tonight

Heard chatter about cleaning MAF when you have drop in K&N? So where do I look

It is the little flat top rectangle on the intake tube going from the air filter box to the throttle body.

Arrow Wires....

Disconnect the wiring, two screws to take it out, and pull straight up.

The brown doo-hickey you see on the end of the wires is a thermistor, measures the incoming temp. The actual MAF heated wires are up inside the housing, tough to see. Only a small proportion of the air goes up and over, past the sensor - this is the part that will spoil your day if there is ANY oil on it.

Spray brake cleaner or solvent up there, do NOT try and wipe it, even a q-tip will bend/stretch/break it.
