Hey everyone, I just bought a used rx8. Unfortunately it only came with one key, it is the master key not the valet key. It worries me a little bit that the other key is still out in the world somewhere and I don't have it. I read in the manual that the dealer can clear out all keys and then reprogram the keys you have so that lost keys can no longer start the car. Does anyone know if this is a costly procedure, I will also probably purchase another key for a spare when I get this done. Thanks for any info, just trying to get ballpark on how much this would cost me.
