Hi, im looking for a garage who can install a new exhaust on my car , because i think he's dead and the exhaust mazda is very expensive so if you knew a place in orlando where they install exhaust for my rx8..... ????

and do you think if i go to my dealer with the exhaust like a B and B, greddy or Borla they will install it for me ???
and maybe if someone here know how to do it and have the tool we can meet and see ???

The probleme that i have is while i was driving yesterday , i was on the first gear at 8000rpm , i put the second gear and then nothing no more power and the sound was crazy like BROOOO... BROOOO and no POWER, i can start the car again but if i accelerate the sound is like when a cow is yelling sound there is something in the exhaust and the car stop by herself, i 'll go to mazda tommorow and i'll see what's wrong, i just hope it's not the engine.....

and you can have any cat back done at any muffler shop, or it is pretty easy.

ok what makes me thinking that my cat is dead is that i dont have any power , so i guess the cat is clugged so for the muffler ??? what is it, my english is not so bad and im french so when i have tio find a place or smething else and explain the technical term in english it's not so easy , but im french and we have have some forum for our rx8 in france so i discus with the guy of www.rx8france.com and apprently they said that it should be my cat that is dead ...... tommorow ill go to mazda to check what's wrong and if it's the cat i'll get another one but not the one that mazda have because it will be more expensive and i want to have a new sound on my car ...... so what muffler again ?

you are under warranty. let them deal with it. likely cat. could be coils plugs.

im goint to my dealer on OBT tomorrw and no im not under warranty so i will have to pay for whatever is it .... so and what do you means by ''what flash are you on? ''

 

if the car is from the usa, you are still under the power train warranty.

it is now 5 yrs 60k miles.

and the flash is the update to the ecu...
