to be fair, they said "up to", which doesn't mean you'll get the full 80%
kinda like the 90% off sales some stores to. It's actually "up to 90%", where they discount some god awful crap that no one wants at 90%, and everything else is close to normal price

I am not saying that we shouldn't compare MOI or won't do it, but it's tough to put any priority for it at this time. Even if we provide this information, it doesn't help trying to compare with other brands since they won't have this information. We have seen a lot of mis-information out there from different clutch manufacturers as well. So how do you know if it is correct or just advertising hype? OK, OK, I will get off my soapbox now.

Good information to know I'm reciting the 80% claim from what I've read on sales sites, here's one: http://www.rx7store.net/ACT_Flywheel_p/proliterx8.htm

As long as the prolite and counterweight photo that I took (earlier in this thread) is for a rx8 and not the eclipse, then I'm a happy camper
I didn't buy from that website btw. Just used it for reference with the 80% thing.

I bought ACT's counterweight because of the lack of concensus on proper counterweight. Some said automatic rx7's would work, others said it would be close, but not exactly right. Unfortunately the counterweight was back ordered and I had to wait a few weeks for it to come in. If it weren't backordered, I'd already have all of this stuff installed on my car I'd rather wait for the proper stuff than install random junk and hope it works.

Yum ..... yum yum .....
Im still thinking which clutch to go to (Yeah Im still thinking :P), most likely OEM or Exedy Stage 1. OEM to shut Mazda Tech Line's mouth. Exedy cuz its even cheaper than OEM.
if ACT is better balanced, then I might just get one and change my Mazda CW out.
Oh hey, anybody know where I can directly order the ACT CW >?

Ah, that would be very helpful good sir!
Well, I'll be getting the Esmeril Turbo kit soon, and I think a clutch upgrade isn't far after that, especially since I'm still on stock parts with no replacement @ 40k miles, and thats with beating on the clutch in my earlier days.
I was thinking a flywheel that wasn't neccessarily the absolute lightest, so the ACT Streelite caught my eye (instead of the Prolite).
The car is my daily driver and I didn't want too light to be a hassle.

Yeah... that's not an ACT description. The photo is of an Mitsubishi Eclipse flywheel. It also says that it has a tuff-rided friction surface and a bolt on ring gear. Neither are true. How can it have a bolt on ring gear when it is a one piece flywheel? This is the kind of thing that bugs me. In their defense it is probably just a carryover from a description of an aluminum flywheel.
