Leaking from tranny? Or switch?

So im getting a leak thats smells like gear oil coming from the tranny driver side. When I jacked up the car I notice its not really from the tranny but some cable thats connected to the tranny. Not sure what it is. Ill take a pic tomorrow. Anyone have a pic under the car so I can pin point it where its coming from?

I think is coming from the top of the tranny or somewhere. I think is traveling trough the cable thats coming from the top of the tranny to the sensor thing thats in the passenger side. Anyone have any ideas?

Could be one of the sensors. Could be the base of the shifter housing, 4 bolts, paper thin gasket.

Here is what I did, I put some high temp sealant. Does anyone know what part that is? The oil is coming out of where the 2 wires are coming out from the connector thing.

sigh, I should have tried that when I was down there lol who knows if it could have fixed the issue. But the high temp stuff I used is still working.

Now im waiting for redline MT90 oil to get here to change the tranny oil out. I was leaking allot at before I fixed it.

Mine was pretty bad and a drip, yours might be a very very small leak.

Or if your shifter assembly wasn't installed correctly you may be smelling trans oil from there.

My back-up switch is leaking, and i get drops. Tried sealing it but it only worked for like a week. Just make sure you get the right switch, the neutral switch on the other side of the tranny is not interchangeable. I know from experience
