knock sensor problem.

knock sensor problem.

I am throwing a code p0328 which is the knock sensor. any suggestions on how to fix it? where is it located at?

The attached pic shows you the location of the KS. The spark plugs give you a good idea where you are looking at.
I would fist try to disconnect and reconnect the hire harness. Then reset the KAM (turn the key to 'on' (but don't start the car) and press the brake pedal ~20x until you see the oil pressure gauge sweeps back and forth).

sorry to revive an old thread but were you able to figure out the problem. I have just replaced my engine, and I am getting the same code. Replaced the sensor with the one from my old motor, same thing. Also it wont go over 5k rpm. Could a clogged cat be the issue. The plugs and wires are good. I used the old coils I had which were working fine before i replaced the engine. I am just stumped as to where to start to fix these problems

It's called a service manual. If you open one up it will indicate that if it's not the sensor then it's either a wiring or PCM issue

Replaced the engine without looking at the cat?? Very unwise since a clogged cat could have killed the original engine.
