Ive noticed over the last couple of weeks when I start my engine cold (not on a cold day persay, just after its been sitting), when I put it in 1st and head out i hear a whiny chirp as im accelerating through the gears.. it sounds all through the rpm band through all gears .. you know how some older american cars gets that rattle in the dash above the steering wheel when you are on a bumpy road.. its kinda like that.. it fades away as the enginre warms up. If you crank, and tap the petal you can really hear it. maybe a belt or something, not sure.. any ideas .. its not the easiest to detect/hear (although in an enclosed area where the sounds bouncing its pretty easy), id like to have an idea before i take it to the dealer.. my car has the 3k rpm chirp that is normal with some 8's.. its not that chirp, this is a steady one that gets louder with the rpms from 1k-8k..
