Hi Everyone. I know that there are alot of forums here for the K&N intake. My question is, do you need the black undertray for it? or can you run the hose switch for the vfad straight to the vfad (because it is built into the tray).

Yes. I've had it for a few years. I had to take the radiator out to replace it. I'm putting it back in and I was just curious.

Good to read the link BC provided. Hope you haven’t already bought the K&N Typhoon. I had one on my car at the time of purchase. Better after reverting to the stock unit.
