I've got a Green Filter that needs to be cleaned. No local shops have the official Green cleaning/recharge kit, so I bought a K&N recharge kit. The guys at my local auto parts store said they're identical and it would be fine to use the K&N kit to clean the Green Filter. Would you concur?

I think the difference between the two is one is purple and the other is green.

Oh, and about 10 bucks.
