Irregular idle...possible missing
At cruising speeds when the clutch is pushed in, and rpms are allowed to fall down to around 1000 rpms, my 8 tends to fall to about 100-200 rpms and begins to idle irregularly. Once she even died on me.
Does anyone have ideas to what may be causing this?

Just out of curiosity, why are you leavin the clutch in?
I know when I come to a light and I'm already slowing down I sometimes put it into neutral and coast the rest of the way, during these times my idle has never dropped below 800. Mine, for some reason stays around 1000 until I stop completely, then drops to around 800.

So tell me, did you pop the clutch at cruising speeds to start it again? No problems?

Yeah, sounds potentially serious to me. I'd get that fixed before it gets worse and strands you somewhere.
Mine sounds like it misfires every 3-5 seconds at warm idle, but never enough to visibly drop the tach or kill the engine.
Please let us know how this turns out.
