interior swap help needed
okay guys finally found someone who wants to swap my all black leather for red and black leather..were swaping the front and rear seats all panels and maybe e brake..the steering wheel is a little iffy considsering u need to use a pulley to yank it off..i have looked for hours on a diy for a full interior swap if anyone can help me out i would really apperciate..what too look for what secret bolts are were..anything..i dunno maybe the steering wheel isnt to bad to yank off i have yanked one off before just not my baby 8's

It's not too bad, you do have to put some pressure on it ....maybe a whack or two with a rubber mallet but it is pretty easy to do. I changed my interior also and found all the info I needed on here. Good luck!

i have found few little pieces the rear seats are straight forward same with the front panels..but the rear panels are tricky as it seems..and the front seats dont look to bad but you have air bags in the seats soo could be rough

I did a complete interior swap a few years back, everything is pretty simple- except for the steering wheel. I highly recommend having a experienced mechanic do this. Our steering wheels have a lot hooked into them, and one of the wire harness tabs has to be unscrewed w/o damage, not to mention the airbag and plug-in clip (very sensitive & breakable) All this and putting the new wheel on is a gamble for a perfect line-up. I managed all of the install and had put the wheel on one tooth over. It was pretty irritating with the wheel off kilter. That said- it was just overly time consuming.
