Intake install

I'm getting a K&N Typhoon intake in the next couple of days.

While generally intake installs are straight-forward, does anyone have any suggestions, recommendations, etc. based upon your install experience with the RX-8?

Thanks.

Shame on you Mike. I'm the king of searches. Didn't find anything specific to my question.

Based upon my experience with intake installations, sometimes there are "missed" steps. Granted, this is my first K&N intake but I have experience with Injen, AEM, HKS and Weapon-R. Things were not as "detailed" as they could have been.

Yeah, I looked at the instructions from K&N's web-site so I *think* everything should be cool.
