I am a new rx8 owner, not even a week yet and loving it but have a question:

I know that at daytime the instrument panel is black on white and when you enter or leave the car the panel is blue but at night I thought the panel should be red on black but it is red on black and blue. the blue light is also on? is this right or do i have a problem? thanks for your help!

 

Sounds fine. In my car, I can barely see the blue light - it's mostly red and black at night.

 

One cool effect: scroll down the instrument panel dimmer at night. If you go one click down, the instrument panel will change to a blue and red glow...it's very subtle and cool for long drives
