Infra-red pics of RX-8 in operation?
Here's an interesting page with infra-red pics of an RX-7 showing the distribution of heat. A similar representation of the RX-8 might be interesting. Just how hard are those oil coolers working, etc? Where are the hot spots?
I wonder if anyone here has access to such equipment?

FLIR makes some awesome IR cams. I have used several. It would have been nice if the pics on the link would have had temps shown...The only problem with the IR cams is the cost. The last one I used went for 60k, before options. Its hard to find someone with one, even harder to get them to let you borrow it. :D
