Then they draw again during the slow period in between shots of Jagermeister and bong hits to see who gets to try to make up an excuse as to how they supposedly fixed it. We all know it works this way. Of course that could also potentially be a hypothesis as well but it sure seems plausible. I'll need to send that one into Myth Busters.
The truth is... It's the lot boys who determine what's wrong with your car.
And the the Sexy girl behind the cash register who claims they fixed it.

^^ Heh.
BTW - I think they ruined that spread by trying to "tart her up". She just doesn't need that.
The video, at least, allows her nature to come through the bad hair, makeup and wardrobe.
Now, what were we talking about?

Can someone who has had the 'rough' idle try to describe it? I have noticed the idle on my 06 get a little bit 'rougher' in terms of vibrating a little bit more, but do not know where to draw the problem/imagination line. Maybe on a scale from 1 to vibrate?
is it extremely noticible if your foot's not on the clutch/gas? thanks everyone

It isn't "bad", it's just noticeable. If I add just enough throttle to raise the rpms to about 1000, it completely goes away. If not for the fact that everyone on here talks about it and claims that the rotary should be so smooth you can't even tell its running, I wouldn't think it was abnormal. The TSB requires the tech to add throttle at 3000rpms in 3rd gear and see if they FEEL a hesitation. Can it get much more subjective than that?
^^ that sound normal...the Renesis idles poorly at 850 RPM....and smooths out at about 1K
Might as well quit worrying....
They are replacing my mounts next week....I'll see if it gets better. If it doesn't...I'll replace the plugs........

you know, i'm at 49800 miles right now, do i really want to waste my own time to try to make the dealership replace a piece that works to my satisfaction (ie no boneshaking vibration, just a little bit at idle), sounds almost like i'm trying to pull a fast one on them
i'll probably leave my stock mounts alone until it fails due to normal wear, hopefully that'll be a few more years down the road.

i will tell you that at 55 k miles when my motor was replaced. the mounts were replaced also... was like a new car..... i cant begin to tell you how big a change it was...

Thinking monday of taking my baby back since myself I'm still feeling this vibration. Had my mounts changed just before Christmas and it was fine for the first few weeks but yesterday the car was shaking so much while at a stop I could hear the door rattling. I have a A/T and you can only feel it when in R or D. So part of me is somewhat thinking it has something to do with the transmission.
I do know engines move but at times feels like I have a V-8 or V-10 unda the hood. Though the free back massage is nice at times but overall kinda embarassed if I have to have someone in the car with me.
Oh and...

She can soooo bust any myth.. only reason I watch the show really. Seen her wear a shirt this week that said "I love Geeks".

The problem is that you have to make up a complaint to qualify for the TSB. Then, if you have a manual, the tech will go out and romp the throttle in 3rd gear and decide if he/she feels a hesiation. Hopefully, good service departments would just inspect the mount and replace it if its broken.
Engine mounts replaced
Idle is smoother, less engine vibration felt, and acceleration seems smoother, too. I too, as another poster mentioned, did not notice until the service manager mentioned it when I took my 8 in for the 30k maintenance ($480, btw!!!). I do hope the upgraded mounts last longer.
