The airbags didnt go off and you are fine so obviously they didnt need to deploy to keep you safe.... Therefor you didnt hit hard enough.

and for all the people bagging on me, i just wanted a simple yes or no answer, and can i get that? NO
There is NO AIRBAG in the A-Pillar!

mazda has undoubtedly read this this morning as they read the forum everyday. your posting here about this crash and what lead to it just gave them evidence to use against you in your lawsuit.

they can show that you have a pattern of driving which can lead to abuse of the transmission. not only that but by mentioning your dad was there they can say that he contributed to this abuse by allowing you to drive in this manner.

Even though some synchros have been faulty you had to prove YOURS were faulty. Now they can sit back and let you try to prove you DIDNT abuse them. good luck with that.

Lower control arm is not defective and will not crack.

They are looking for 1 control arm that was defective and left the factory.

Air bags depend upon direct impact at certain angles. You did not meet that criteria. There is science in this.

Believe me... its not the cars fault. You lost control.

Sorry to hear what happened, but you need to stop. Look from the outside and learn from your mistake.

alright its just hard to understand when you have 3 different mechanics who saw the car in person saying that the airbags whouldve definitely come out. So my bad, but hopefully you can understand where im coming froml

In court,
In your particular case,
The aggressive driving, totaling your car while 'racing', and blown transmission issues demonstrate a pattern that you are not using the car for it's intended use.

I don't see the Koni Challenge teams suing Mazda for warranty on their race cars.

And im sorry if you think its wrong im not grounded for life or that my dad isnt sueing me. Sorry im a minor and my dad actually cares for me rather than the car.

If he cared about you, he would be teaching you a lesson in how not to be irresponsible with things that can endanger your life and everyone around you and not on how to put blame on someone else when you've obviously screwed up big time.

Both you and your dad are at fault (him for the blatantly crappy upbringing).
