Long story short, I have some tinkering to do that involves removing the black plastic covers for the steering wheel buttons. I have disassembled the airbag center of the steering wheel but haven't unplugged it yet. Two questions:

1: How do I remove the plastic button covers?

2: If I unplugged and replug the steering wheel airbag harnesses (orange and yellow) with the negative battery cable off, will that lead to an airbag light once the car is started? I ask because in my Infiniti, it will throw an airbag light that would have to be reset by the dealer.
