How many KILOMETERS do you guys get ?
How many kms do you guys get with a full tank in your 8 ?
i get about 300-350km MAX ...
everytime i go to the pump I'm like... uhmm i'm gonna try to eco-drive ( never over 3k rpm ) as soon as i start the car i'm like **** that... rev the bitch... AHHHH ******* annoying i wish i could get 500km out of a tank...like my old tiburon.
A full tank cost 120$ in switzerland... gas price is 2,09 DOLLARS/Liters for Shell-V Power 100 Octane
I wish i could live in US and just laugh about it...but i can't

You don't want to Eco drive. I get about 400 in town and 550 highway. It sucks but I hope you didn't get the car for gas mileage. I usually run between 3 and 6. On a 50km/h road I'll keep in in 3rd. On an 80k road 4th. 90 5th and 100 or more 6th. The car runs better at higher rpms. Drive er like she's meant to be driven.
1.53$ CAD a liter here in Quebec City, i get 440km at 125kmh on highway...
I get between 350-400 in mixed city-highway daily driving...
rev a lot when traffic lights change & cruise control on highways with burst of speed to have fun if a ricer tries to bug me!...

try to beat 260 ish km at the light
All city ... but i do shift at like 6000 rpm most of the time with some redlines here and there

best i got was 440km when I was breaking in the new engine on my first 2 tanks. After that my foot got a little heavy and I redline it a few times a day and accelerate a lot for nothing to hear the sound of my exhaust but I still manage to get around 400km to the light.
I noticed the rx8 is very dependant on your style of driving. Some cars can get away with it but not the 8.

We don't have km here in the US, but if we did my km/tank (from full until the light first comes on - about 13 gallons) is 350 - 370 for daily driving, and about 500 for pure highway cruising.

Awesome another fuel mileage thread.
I see the OP is from Switzerland so maybe a language/search disability here
I'll play nice and I'm a bit mad at myself as I was going to pump the fuel mileage thread.
I've been keeping better track of my mileage (never use to care at all)
I'm boosted, P1=Yellow Secondary=Yellow P2=Uncapped Yellow
350 km on 45 liters of fuel = 7.8 km/l
279 km on 36 liters of fuel = 7.75 km/l
400 kim of 51 liters of fuel = 7.84 km/l
25/75 ratio of in town vs highway/country road driving.
All of them had equal amount of WOT running in 2nd, 3rd, 4th for data logging
edit: And on that bomb shell all RX8's should be boosted to improve fuel mileage and save the planet!
Except of course for bse50 who's anomalous reading is likely due to his altered stated of reality
jk dude

mine is always 300-330 around town boosted . NA was just the same . Open road 400 if i don't kane it too much . Got 500 on one tank so i know that is possible ... but who TF wants to drive an 8 like that ?
For a full tank I use V power 95-96 octane most of the time. Most of the time I range between 430-450 kms, best I got was 491kms. No not boosted either, just decat and single exhaust.
Closed. Deleted a bunch of your posts as off topic and headed for a flame war. Keep it civil people.
Chris, lots of mileage(kilometerage) posts on the forum. Poke around a bit and it's easy to find. They typically all end the same, with the people that have trouble getting the mileage getting mad at the people that can, thinking that they are lying.
If you can't get at least 400km from a full tank down to the low fuel light when doing all highway driving, then you have something wrong, and it needs to be addressed. Ignition, fuel trims, compression, vacuum leaks, O2 sensor failure, clogged cat, and/or not driving smooth will all contribute to lower economy.
