Question How do i put an Amp on my RX8??

Hi I have a 1000 watts mono class D amp i want to connect it just for bass, i did already the Aux input welded inside the head unit(works nice with my MP3 player). ill leave the factory system intact for mid and highs, but i want to know wich cables are the Mute outputs from the radio to the factory ampso i can get the inputs to the new amp. I have already the rest done, please any help on this one can any one tell me the color of the cables on the trunk, i know its the plug with many wires..., Thanks

You can use a high to low convertor and splice into the rear speaker wires after the amp (if Bose). Thats what i did, I have 2 10s that sound great with the bose system.

What you say works but is only part true. Sound depends on amp. And converter should be pretty good. I used a weak amp and cheap converter and after I turned ignition off it made a continuos bumping. I switched to a better converter and it stopped the problem, but when I upgraded to a jl 1000.1 amp it had that problem again. I had to buy audio line outputs from pac-audio.com to fix the problem. Well I didn't have to but it sounded way better than what it was which I thought was pretty damn good already. =)
