VA How to disable Airbag light

So my 2006 Shinka has had an airbag light on and the codes it has is b1998 b1994 and b2290, Mazda stealership wants to tell me at first that there was corrosion in the wiring of the seats and i needed to replace both seats, after some back and forth and trying to source used ones since new ones are unavailable, they call me back and tell me now the corrosion is in the main harness of the vehicle and it'd be over 2000 dollars in labor if i can even find a new wiring harness for the vehicle... Something just plain stinks about this.... I've googled my *** off and can't find anything on it but is there a way to disable the airbag light in my car? trick it to staying off? Can i pull the bulb out from behind the gauge cluster? SOMETHING?

I believe the required resistor values are on the forum here somewhere, but if there are wiring issues that likely may not help

I don't have any guidance to offer on the light itself, but best wishes

I found the resistor values, 1w 2.2 ohm resistance according to another thread, my concern is if there truly is corrosion in the main harness somewhere from the interior of the vehicle to wherever those two pairs of wires (drive and passenger) run to, that there may be a fault there and the resistors won't do any good.

Is there a wiring diagram that shows where those airbag connectors run to from the seats to wherever they actually end up at under the hood (if it is under the hood)

this was from the 2005 service manual, will try to see what’s in the electrical manual when I get home later tonight

That definitely helps, but not sure which i need to put the resistor in, I'm assuming it's the sensor and not the module? Also do you or anyone else have an idea where along the floor these wires run to the SAS controller as I may have to cut some carpet up to get to an area of wiring that isn't corroded if corrosion is present since I'd rather cut some carpet than dismantle my entire dashboard to get to this unit.

I had same issue earlier this year on my 2004 GT (original owner). Took it to Mazda stealership and they could not find the cause of the airbag light after much troubleshooting. After 3-4 hours they finally discovered the cause after removing the drivers seat. Apparently the power driver's seat after many moves of adjustment, broke a wire under the seat. They repaired the wire and no issues for the last 6+ months. The stealership only charged me for labor (no parts/supplies). I tried numerous troubleshooting steps myself to no avail before finally going to stealership. Very frustrating.

So just the driver's seat was causing all three codes for passenger and driver? Was the break in the harness of the seat or the main harness going to the vehicle?

I tried two different resistors plugged in to the vehicle side of the seat harness, the yellow clip, i didn't cut the terminal end off just in case just pressed the resistor in it... tried clearing the codes for the SRS module via BlueDriver OBD2 scanner and i still can't get these lights off, NO ONE will pass me for inspection at this point, even some of the good ol boy shops i've been to... is there anything else anyone can think of
