Hi guys, new RX-8 owner here. Just bought a 07 GT MT. Car is brand new, dealer had an 07 left that I got an amazing deal on. But... the horn doesn't work??? not a huge deal, but nice to have. Any thoughts as to what it could be?? The dealer is 150 miles away, so an inconvenience to go there to get it looked at. Any thoughts?

 

It's a pretty simple circuit - just a 15 amp fuse in the engine compartment box, marked Horn.

Unlikely that the horn is dead, the previous owner may have had an alarm hooked up, and left the wires loose.

^The OP stated it was a brand new model year closeout.

To the OP, check the fuses...if it's not that take it back to the dealer.
