HELP!Vibrating sound from undercarriage

Hi All,

Does anyone here drive an auto RX-8 encounter vibrating sound from undercarriage whenever you have a cold start? It feel like the exhaust is touching the base of the car and vibrate whenever the car is idling and it goes on until the car is fully warm up...anyone can recommend me a good workshop to slove my problem?

btw, my authorised workshop sucks...tell me they cannot do anything after the check. Worst they cannot even tell me what the real problem....

anyway, hopefully can get help from you guys...tia

The stupid vibrating noise not only happpen to the auto 8. On my MT6 also has the same problem! N what you claimed was quite true that it sound like the exhaust pipe or box is touching some other undercarriage parts that causes the noise...............

But the tedious part is, when I sent my car to workshop to jack up for a check; we could'nt found any parts that are physically contacted to the exhaust system that making the noise................

Still puzzlering and wondering any of U out there knows wat d $#%&* is going on................

& I have a strong feeling that the small sheet metal that wrap around the cat might b the culprit.................

Put the car up on jack stands, and let it sit overnight. Next morning, start it and climb underneath to hunt down the sound. Or take it to the dealership and make them do all this.
