just curious, you could save alot of weight this way, I imagine the front seats with the airbags are 30+lbs a piece.

For those that have used racing seats in the past, how comfortable are they for long distance driving?

I have Sparco Torino seats in my Grand Prix. I REALLY want the Monza seats in my RX-8. There is no comparison between the seats. The Sparco seats are MUCH more comfortable than the stock seat for short and long distance driving. I have driven to Boston and Florida (from Washington D.C.) with absolute comfort the entire way. I really hate taking long trips in ANY other car now that I have experienced what a real seat feels like. As soon as I have $ sitting in my pocket I'll get Sparco Monza seats in the RX-8.

Any issues with the Airbag Sensors or Airbar lights?

Thanks,
