Help/Tips with fixing scrapes on bumper

Hi All,

I was wondering if you could help me out with some tips on how to fix some scratches/scrapes on my car. I have attached links to a couple pictures of the 2 scrapes I have on my bumper after someone backed into me.

Since the scrapes are on the bumper (which appears to be plastic and not metal like the hood or other parts of the car) I was wondering if I could use Bondo spot putty and paint leveler procedure as shown in this video [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pv5gTgA3OpM"]. I also own the OEM touch up paint.

I appreciate any help/tips

Thanks Again,

Adam

They don't look deep. I'd try some polishing or rubbing compound.

When I run my fingernail vertically along the scratch it does catch. Should I still try polishing and rubbing compound? I appreciate the help.

I'm gonna give it a try this weekend. Do you recommend a specific brand for the rubbing compound and polish?

Would this procedure work for a metal section of the car? I have some pretty decent scratches in my hood, would the process for that be different?
