Angry HELP plz Turb0 Issue!!

im kinda newb at this **** need some pro input.

I got a full engine rebuild and greddy turbo kit with the exeed ecu on my 8 months ago.
got it tuned , drove it and when id boost it , it would cut out at 7k rpm and feel like it wouldnt gain any speed .

so they changed the injectors and still same problem.
changed the ecu to the interceptor-X and still same problem.
got the avcr boost ctrler and still same problem.

I changed the ecu and put injectors in cuz thats wat my tuner said would solve the problem . and still the same ****.
now they say they think its the fuel pump.

ANYONE know if it could be the fuel pump?
ANYONE had this problem before?
let me kno thx guyz

1) where are you located

2) which shop did the install

3) who did the tune

4) have logs to show what the tune looks like?

If this means that your boost is dropping above 7K, reportedly that is normal as the GReddy turbo isn't large enough to supply the necessary lbs/min in the upper rev range...best option is to up the turbo size.

located : Calgary , Alberta , Canada

Install : Rx-7 Specialist

Tune : Light speed innovations in Reddeer Alberta ( they also installed injectrors ,ecu etc.

And i have no logs of the tune

the boost issue dropping is fixed with the avcr boost ctrl
its keeping boost at higher rpm
but its pinging around 7000
it starts to boost then cuts off as if no fuel is getting to it.
when it hits 7000 its so slow to get to 8000 , and sometimes after 8000 in certain gears like 3rd boost kicks back in.
fkn weird

There have been bad fuel pumps, I had one, but it wasn't strictly at high revs, when it cut out it would just run like crap at all speeds.

Should be easy to hook up an external tank and pump while on the dyno, see if that fixes it.

Cam at Lightspeed has worked on my car, he's pretty good.

There are two relays for the fuel pump, to give a higher pressure when needed, you could check 'em and try bypassing the low relay.

The wideband readings would tell you right away if the mixture is going lean....

the drop over 7000 on the greddy is similar to the top of the NA car over 8500. What he describes isn't normal.

my buddy with a riced out honda had a problem very similar to your with his turbo setup after he changed turbos.... i believe he called it "boost creep". his explanation was that his boost control was set for a max level of boost and something in his setup was causing boost levels to rise too quickly for the cotroller to compensate. so in order to prevent spark knocking it just dumped all boost at once, but would recover it in a higher gear until it did it again. it was enough of a change to go from being planted back in the seat to having my knees slammed into the dash.

hope that helps... i dont deal with turbos much

That's what I have read and seen on Dyno's.
