Help me identify this part (suspension -- Koni))
Hey all,
I'm in the process of swapping out my Tein Basics for Koni/Springs. I sold off my Teins and with them i sent the four half collar/sleeve things that you need to bolt up the lower mount on the rear shocks. I'm glad i sent them because the purchaser needed them but my used Konis did not come with them. I really have no idea what these things are technically called or where to buy them so i would appreciate the community's infinite wisdom here.
Here is a pic of what i'm talking about (or whats missing actually). See how the bolt is too small for it's bolt hole/bushing? There are four metal pieces that sleeve the bushing so the factory bolt fits properly. I dont think they are oem but my Teins needed them and apparently so do my Konis.
Thanks!

Then what did i take off that was necessary for the Teins? I just threw a shock on the rear and it's snug but the the stump does not come all the way out to be flush with the outside edge of the shock mount. Is that normal? If so crisis averted. It just seems odd to me that there is some open space in there...
There is a sleeve then the bushing then the outer shock mount...the Teins have a looser sleeve
....the bolt has to squeeze the sleeve...not the bushing...so you should be fine
