Help: Installed Pulley - Now Getting CEL
Help: Installed Pulley - Now Getting CEL
I installed the Agency Power pulley. My install procedure was to disconnect the battery, removed the old two piece pulley and installed the new one with the new bolts and belts supplied. I tried to get the belt tension the same as it was before (estimated). Reconnected the battery.
I let the car warm up before testing and I now get a flashing CEL when I rev the car past 3,000 and it comes on solid as I rev it to around 6,500. The CEL is P0302 (misfire). Any ideas what could be the problem?
Thanks.

Rexi,
The Agency Power pulley is made of one piece and is about 1/2 pound compared to the two piece stock one, which is around 2 pounds. The pulley is smaller than stock by a good portion, the site says 20% under driven.
Impressions - the car revs up much quicker when blipping the throttle for down shifting. In comparing performance between the pulley and my lightened flywheel, I would give the nod to the flywheel. Although the pulley feels like its free up additional power as well.
