Is this a new sound?
How many miles/km on the car?
Maintenance history?

"Rollover" noise and it's normal. You are hearing the input shaft in the tranny spinning.

I finally got around to installing mine(after buying it almost a year ago) and not only does it help me better shift my rather crummily-gated backup transmission, I can hear every little noise in the trans now. And, when coupled with my Mazsport motor mounts, I really get to hear and feel every little noise made by the engine too.
