I am wanting to buy a lightened flywheel but noticing so many different ones. Some to be used with turbo and then non turbo. I don't have turbo yet but do plan on getting it in the near future. Can someone recommend me a good one that I can use now and also will be compatible with turbo if such a thing exists. Also the counterweight that needs to be purchased with it. Thanks in advance.

Alot of owners say you don't need the light fly when you are turbo as it is over kill and you have plenty of torque.

what compatible with Turbo? Rx-8 have factory turbo ?

Prolite is good. Also Mazdaspeed Flywheel is good, its made by Exedy so yea its the same as Exedy Flywheel.

Is this the flywheel yal are talking about also is the combined weight of the flywheel and counterweight 9.8lbs or is that just the weight of the flywheel? http://www.racinglab.com/act-prolite...mazda-005.html

just the weight of the flywheel.

the counterweight is like 2-3 lbs ? I measured it at post office's scale before, don't remember it anymore.
