Hard start solution ! Fixed today

So I get my car back and I swear it cranks 3 times faster now than even when it was new, and fires immediately. This is thanks to new and improved plugs and a new starter motor. My car has always felt strong right off the lot, but man does it feel better with the new plugs. Mazda has been told to replace these on customer complaints, but maybe you all know this and I am out of the loop.

Now the other issue I am bugging them about is my stiff clutch. Both 8's I sat in, in the showroom felt like feather clutches, mine is starting to feel like a Mustang.
The main service manager was more than inclined to look into this for me since during this service they had a little accident with my car

No big deal, but apparently the guy was backing my car out while another was pulling in and he rammed my bumper...or so I was told. Needles to say it is being fixed at their expense.

But I am not surprised at the spark plug issue. This was the second set of plugs I had replaced in 10,000kms, so they knew they had to make an upgrade or change.
Car feels even better now, and I have to say again it turns over so quick I can't believe it's the same car.

how long does it take your car to turn over now with the new starter?

I'm not sure if i have the new starter or not, but if you count the whines it does before it starts mine does it every time after the 5th.

Yup, out of the loop. A revised service bulletin released in December spelled out the new starter, battery and plugs. It has been discussed here in several threads for the past month. Do a search to read them if you're really interested.
