So my car has 56,000 miles at least...and i recently just added a midpipe/ms catback...well i havent drove it for maybe 30 days at the most...and after a couple of days starting 2 drive it..once i floor it and try to shift to 6th it grinds...then i have 2 pop it back out and slow down and shift to six..thats when it goes on...now couple minutes ago...i floored it and when i shifted to 3rd it grinded...but it went in...any suggestions?

 

I've just had to send mine in to the shop for that very similar problem, only mine also does so with 6th.

Dealership concluded I have a blown syncro on 6th gear.. So I'd suggest you check that out probably

 

ooh alright thanks man...any idea how much its gonna be?...and is it covered by your warranty?

 

Can't say I know, though a senior member can probably give you a better diagnose/suggestion.

Mine is brand spankin new, so taking it to a dealership and get them to check it out was a no brainer.

Yours should still be under warranty though, and I doubt a check-up/diagnostic should cost you a pretty penny (but you never know)

 

i think the warrenty for that may have expired at 50k miles, not 100% sure though
