Umm...perhaps given your level of expertise...

DONT LOOK FOR EM...your first step had you any sense would have been to check the Mazda Tech Manual. There have been fires reported from people who have had work done to the fuel system and had subsequent leakage.

Mess with it if you want your car to turn into TOAST...

Did I say toast??

Hopefully he's just trying to find it so he can clamp a magnet on it and get 50% more fuel efficiency and 38 more HP.

Fuel is the red one not blue. They are next to each other near the dipstick. Also don't yank it out. Unclip the red ring. =)

Wait I forgot to mention to open the gas cap and wait for 20 mins to let the pressure drop or else gas will squirt all over you and the enginebay. Sorry forgot to mention that earlier.

That will NOT relieve the pressure in the fuel lines!!!

If you want to relieve the fuel line pressure, disconnect the fuel pump and run the engine until it quits. Consult the factory service manual. Fuel spraying around in the engine compartment is not something you want to see.

Uhm.... wait are you sure? I've taken the line in and out 3 times and the only time that happened was when I didn't open the cap.... yes I cleaned it ans let it dry for 2 days before I started driving again. =) sorry, I'm not saying that you're wrong and I'm right. I'm just saying that was my experience with it.

Here's what the factory service manual says.
