Fuel Filler Door
Is there any way I can open my fuel filler door? It seems that the cable from the latch must have snapped.
Dealers are closed today and I'm pretty much out of fuel.

According to the shop manual, you can get to the latch from inside the trunk by removing the trunk side trim. If you don't have a manual:

Info is buried in the body section, some under interior trim and some under security and locks. I have not done any of this, just got curious and looked it up.
Looked it up mostly out of sympathy. The hood release cable on my Accord has maybe one opening left in it - I won't know until I try. I have a new cable. I just have to wait a couple of months to finish healing from back surgery before I dive into that project.
