I've read most of all the search results on this matter. My question is, what is the best way/procedure to use these fuel cleaners? Should I run my car till it's empty on gas before I add any fuel cleaner? Should I use the highest possible octane rating gas (93) from like a toptier pump with the cleaner? What do you guys recommend as the optimal fuel cleaner that is locally available (ie, not by ordering online). Thanks.

 

Do what the directions say on the bottle or can. When you say "fuel cleaner", what are you trying to clean, moisture,injectors,carbon deposits? What problem are you haveing or do you just want to do some preventive work?
